School of Opportunities project

Klaipėda Ernests Galvanauskas Vocational Training Centre participates as a partner in the project "School of Opportunities" No.10-072-P-0001, which is financed by EU funds and co-financing.

The aim of this project is to strengthen the quality of education that responds to students' age and needs.

The project will run from April 2024 to July 2027.

The project promoter is the National Education Agency.

The project is implemented with more than 800 partners.

Total project budget - EUR 19 187 021,64

Project activities:

Developing innovative, personalised content and tools for pre-primary and primary education;
Enriching the content of education for pupils with high learning potential;
development of textbooks for the mother tongues of national minorities;
Purchase of textbooks for general education schools, including vocational training institutions running general education programmes;
Preparation of the National Pupil Achievement Tests (NPAs) in social studies and science in Years 4 and 8.

Target group: teachers, educational support specialists, school leaders, school community, pupils and students, researchers, National Education Agency staff.

Project No. 10-072-P-0001 is implemented under the progress measure No. 12-003-03-03-01-03 "Ensuring modern educational content accessible to all" of the Ministry of Education, Science and Sport of the Republic of Lithuania's Education Development Programme for 2021-2030.
