Klaipėda Ernests Galvanauskas Vocational Training Centre in 2015-2016 successfully implemented a 12-month Erasmus+: Leonardo da Vinci KA1 funded mobility project "STUDENT PRACTICE IN EU COUNTRIES", project No. 2014-1-LT01-KA102-000263.
The aim of the project was to provide students on the Foot Care Technician training programme with additional practical training skills in a real workplace in a foreign country.
8 students from the Centre undertook traineeships in Greece and Malta. Three practice visits were organised for students studying the Foot Care Practitioner training programme.

The Centre hopes that the exchange, discussion and sharing of good practices will encourage students to be motivated to deepen their knowledge and to pursue lifelong learning and development. Opportunities to learn about methods, practices and technologies used in other countries will increase employability. The project aims to stimulate students' curiosity and willingness to improve their skills by adopting best practices in foot care from other countries.
Foot care specialists shared their experience by organising a lesson/seminar for the Klaipėda PMRC community. The students also prepared an overview of the practice.
Project value: €18895
Project duration: 2015-06-01 / 2016-05-30
