Apprenticeships are a way of organising vocational training where all or part of the training takes place in the workplace. Apprenticeships involve close cooperation between vocational training institutions and employers, enabling students to acquire the necessary vocational skills in a real workplace (company, institution, organisation, farm, freelance teacher).
The aim of the joint project is to increase the attractiveness and relevance of vocational training to labour market needs by promoting apprenticeships for vocational school students. The aim of the joint project is to ensure that vocational training provides apprentices not only with basic competences, but also with higher competences and skills that are shaped by the market and matched to needs.
Planned results - The project aims to ensure that 52 VET trainees who were enrolled in a full initial or continuing modular vocational training programme (Personal Care Worker, Cook, Vehicle Repairer, Decorator, Massage Therapist and Ornamental Landscape Worker) will complete part of the training in the form of an Apprenticeship. The apprenticeships will be implemented in SMEs with which cooperation agreements have been concluded and which qualify as SMEs.
