INtheLOOP4VET: Improving VET Providers’ Uses of Graduate Tracking feedback

Klaipėda Ernests Galvanauskas Vocational Training Centre has been participating as a partner in the Erasmus+ KA2 funded project INtheLOOP4VET: Improving VET Providers' Uses of Graduate Tracking feedback (project No. 2019-1-SE01-KA202-060542) since 1 September 2019.

This project responds to the need for VET institutions to strengthen their capacity to adapt autonomously to the needs of an ever-changing labour market, by making effective use of the benefits of operational flexibility, local market research data and links with local communities. All this is to be achieved through the efficient management and processing of graduate data in line with labour and other market needs. In addition, the project takes an integrated approach, i.e. it aims to promote the harmonisation of feedback practices and resources at inter-institutional level, the development of international standards, the sharing and co-processing of data, and the transparent implementation of these objectives.

The aim of the project is to develop a system and tools to enable VET institutions to make optimal use of alumni feedback data. This feedback mechanism consists of collecting graduate data, processing it and adapting it to the constantly changing labour market.

Project objectives:

• Increase the involvement of VET institutions in the design and implementation of feedback mechanisms.
• Strengthen the capacity of VET institutions to generate and collect graduate career monitoring data.
• Improve the use of VET monitoring data for service adaptation.
• Encourage VET institutions to share and compare graduate data.
