The project aims to:

  1. Improving students' vocational skills and general competences, thereby improving the employability of future graduates.
  2. To improve the competences of teachers and staff in order to improve the quality of vocational training at Klaipėda Ernests Galvanauskas Vocational Training Centre.
  3. Develop quality international relations and cooperation with employers and social partners.By gaining new knowledge and experience, learning about methods, teaching and learning trends in other countries, the mobility participants - teachers - are able to deliver more varied and modernised lessons, and to attract and engage students in the teaching and learning process. The aim is to improve the quality of lessons and students' learning outcomes. After returning from observation visits and training courses, the staff of the training centre share their experience and new knowledge with the community of the training centre and with colleagues from other educational institutions in methodological groups, seminars and open lessons.Discussions, exchanges of experience and good practices encourage students to improve their knowledge throughout their lives and increase their motivation to learn and improve. Exposure to new teaching methods, practical applications of knowledge and technologies also increases students' employability.

The hope is that, over time, the number of pupils who do not progress or drop out of school will decrease. Pupils will learn more creatively, develop their entrepreneurial spirit, become more career-oriented and more competitive in the labour market.
