“Creating opportunities to learn modules of vocational training programmes at Klaipėda Ernests Galvanauskas Vocational Training Centre” NR. 10-002-T-0020

Klaipėda Ernests Galvanauskas Vocational Training Centre pays particular attention to training professionals who meet the needs of the market. Currently, the key competences that are needed for the labour market and promote competitiveness are not only professional competences, but also digital competences and competences oriented towards green transformation.

According to the wording of Order No V- 294 of 21 September 2022 of the Director of the Employment Service under the Ministry of Social Security and Labour of the Republic of Lithuania, the specialty of mechatronics technician in automatic systems is included in the list of qualifications and competences that create high added value. The project provides vocational training in the module "Repair and maintenance of drives and mechanisms of automatic production systems" for students in general secondary education.

 

The aim of the project is to implement initial vocational training modules at Klaipėda Ernests Galvanauskas Vocational Training Centre, which will enable gymnasium students to develop and improve digital and green transformation oriented competences.

"The expected results are 12 students in general education in secondary education who complete the module "Repair and maintenance of gears and mechanisms of automated production systems" in the initial vocational training programme (407141427)."
