He/she cooperates with specialists providing vocational rehabilitation services, participates in team meetings, and mediates in solving problems during vocational rehabilitation.
A case manager's functions include:
builds up a vocational rehabilitation participant's file from the documents he or she submits;
organises and coordinates the implementation of the participant's individual vocational rehabilitation programme, monitors progress, and maintains regular contact with the participant throughout the vocational rehabilitation process;
introduces and discusses with the participant the objectives of vocational rehabilitation and the service delivery arrangements;
provides the participant with all the necessary information regarding his/her participation in the Vocational Rehabilitation Programme, and maintains the participant's motivation to participate in the Vocational Rehabilitation Programme;
is involved in setting the participant's individual vocational rehabilitation goals;

taking into account the participant's individual vocational rehabilitation goals and the nature of his/her disability and functional abilities, the social worker assesses:
3.1. the participant's social situation and the existing social problems preventing the participant's integration into the labour market;
3.2. the participant's general and specific psychosocial abilities and qualities in everyday and work activities;
