ADULT UNIT

The adult section is for young people aged 16 and over, and for older people living or working abroad or in other places, pursuing primary and secondary education.

After passing the school/national matriculation exams and successfully completing the 3rd and 4th years of the Gymnasium programme, they obtain secondary education and a matriculation certificate. After participating in the Basic Education Achievement Test and successfully completing Gymnasium II, pupils receive a Basic Education Achievement Certificate.
Adult learning is organised in a flexible way, taking into account learners' competences and needs. It uses a variety of learning formats (individual, group) and modes of delivery (daily, part-time, distance).
Primary and secondary education for adults is free.

Persons in the adult basic and secondary curriculum in grades 7-10, 11-12 (III-IV in gymnasiums).

Those wishing to enrol must submit the following documents:

• A copy of your identity document;
• A copy of the school report from your former school;
• A copy of the marriage/divorce certificate.
